Family History Scrapbook Sunday - Marriages

The next set of pages for the family history album are marriage pages. Our class instructions from Jessica Sprague were to create four pages. I wish I was lucky enough to have marriage photos for my grandparents and great grandparents but I"m not. I created a page for myself and my parents.

Be sure to check The Scrappy Genealogist for all the details of the Family History Scrapbook Sunday blogging prompts.

  1. I really like both of your pages, especially the nice touch of adding the license to your parent's page. Also, The Elms! Love that place, especially the basement swimming pool. I could sit in that hot tub all day.

  2. I grew up in Kansas City and my mom's family lived in Richmond. I can't tell you how many times I've driven past The Elms! What a beautiful place for a wedding. Very cool pages!

  3. I really like these pages and how you put them together. I ought to start doing something similar, one page a week. Just think what the creation might look like at the end of a year :)
    Thanks for the inspiration!

  5. Jenna, Love that you did the first marriage pages for two generations first. I am having trouble with the 'extra' page and deciding what to include. Wish there was a little more direction with this piece of the project.

Joan, you should definitely do it! One page a week is manageable. Then submit it for Scrapbook Sunday. We would love to have you join us! Jen
